yes i think so my team(LIVERPOOL FC) proved that last year..but I'm sure they will buy new defenders after the world cup!..i think they are after kompany he plays in Belgium.(in case you didn't know)
they were one of the best! even now they still have one of the best defence in serie A.. but i think they need regeneration because they can't keep up with young strikers like luca toni, adriano or trezeguet.
